The 2013 Juniors′ Lightning North American Championship will serve as the US qualifier (top two US Skippers/Boats) for the 2014 Lightning Youth World Championship to be held at the Buffalo Canoe Club.

Juniors′ Qualifications: The skipper or any of the crew can not turn 20 years of age by 12/31/2013. 

Junior World Qualification: The skipper or any of the crew can not turn 20 years of age by 12/31/2014.

Masters′ Qualifications: The skipper must be of at least 55 years of age by 12/31/2013 and the total combined age of the crew must equal at least 130 by 12/31/2013. 

Women′s Qualifications: The skipper and crew must all be female, no age requirements.
