We had a small but very competitive fleet for the 2017 Spring Regatta on Lake Champlain. Light and variable winds were experienced throughout the weekend along with some rain on Saturday but we managed to get off 6 fair and very close races that involved multiple lead changes each race. We had a great party on Saturday night with Boves Lasagna, local hard Ginger Beer (Halyard) dark and stormies, and a great slide show of the day's racing. Local fleet Captain, Bretton Gardner, sailing with Kate and Nate Owen made a run for the gold with a very consistent regatta and the Saturday night lead. However, Canadian champs Jamie Allen, Chantal Leger and Stephanie Boucher were not to be denied on Sunday with untouchable downwind speed in the super light air. Three bullets overall was more than enough for Allen to break the tie with Gardner and once again take home the Spring Regatta crown.

Thanks to everyone who came out to sail and we are super stoked to host this year's ACC's on July 29-30.
