Official Qualification Events – International Lightning Class
The International Lightning Class is pleased to invite sailors to participate in a series of premier regattas that will contribute to the qualification pathway for the Pan American Games Lima, Peru 2027.
These events will bring together top-level international competition and provide nations with the opportunity to secure qualification places for this prestigious event.
Please note that, in order to qualify your country, teams must have same the citizenship from a Pan American Country and compete under a mixed crew format consisting of two females and one male. In addition, each qualifier must have representation of the above team configuration by at least 3 Pan American Countries and have and Internation Jury.

Participation in these events represents a key step in the journey toward Lima 2027, offering teams the opportunity to compete at the highest level while representing their countries.
