We have a great opportunity presented by the very generous donation of a brand new spinnaker from The Sailing Inc powered by Evolution Sails, Greg Fisher, Marty Kullman and the Ruhlman Family! As a kickoff to our 2025 Fundraising Campaign (more on that to come in the following weeks), we are RAFFLING OFF A NEW SPINNAKER with the proceeds going to the Boat Grant Program. 

We are selling just 100 tickets at $50 each, so you have an excellent chance to win a new spinnaker for just $50!  And 100% of the proceeds will support the Boat Grant Program (this innovative program, designed to help young sailors experience the high level of competition offered by our class, provides fully rigged, insured and competitive boats for selected young teams for the sailing season). 

So don’t delay – purchase your raffle ticket(s) now! Purchase Tickets Only 100 will be sold, and the drawing will be held live at our Annual (Zoom) Meeting on Saturday, March 29 at 1100 am Eastern.  You don’t need to be in attendance to win, but we’d love to have you there (registration info below). 
Sailing Inc Evolution
The Annual Winter Meeting of the International Lightning Class Association will be held virtually via Zoom on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 1100 Eastern Time. 
 
Two items are up for vote/approval. These amendments have been proposed to improve the operational efficiency and accurately reflect the operations of the ILCA. Please review the PDF documents: 
 
 
Proxy Ballots will be emailed to Fleet Captains on record. If you are a Fleet Captain and have not received a proxy ballot please notify the Class Office as soon as possible.
 
As a reminder, all personal and Fleet Membership Dues must be current in order for votes to be counted.
