Registration Information!
To Register please have your sail and hull numbers, Crew names including Date of Birth. Also, refer to the Shirt Sizing Chart below and know what size shirts you and your crew would prefer. Each participant will receive a shirt.
Please complete your payment by April 16th to avoid a late fee of $100 USD.
IF YOU ARE FROM the USA - Please send a check to the Class Office for the amount due.
IF YOU ARE FROM FINLAND - Please make payment directly to the ESPOO YACHT CLUB/ HOLVI
ALL OTHERS - Please complete the payment with a credit card or contact the Class Office for Bank Wire Information.

Main sail and Spinnaker Numbers must match and Main Sail must include proper Country Designation.
WEATHER - Please be advised that the Average water temperature for Mid-June is 13.1°C / 55.6°F. Please be sure to pack WARM sailing gear - locals use dry suits or wet suits during this time of year.
2019 Lightning World Championship heads to FINLAND!
As we are trying our best to have good participation from traveling countries the Organizing and Executive Committees have moved the 2019 Lightning World Championships up by two weeks (posted 6/20/18). The final dates are noted below:

If any foreign teams are interested in chartering a US boat please contact the ILCA Class Office as soon as possible for more information. Note that round trip shipping costs will be approximately $2,500 plus the charter fee.
