Come join us at SYC where we are once again privileged to host the Dixie District Championship Regatta. There will be a few changes from events we’ve hosted in years past due to COVID. Those changes being mostly in how we utilize the clubhouse. This will be an all outdoor event with the only use of the clubhouse being for the restroom facilities and the ice machine. While indoors, face coverings will be required.
We are still planning to host a Saturday evening dinner for skipper and 2 crew, which will be included in the registration fee, along with the usual continental breakfast both days…all served under the pavilion. We’re asking competitors to provide lunches on their own.
Six races are planned for the regatta and if we get all 6 in, this will allow for one throw out.
Schedule as follows:
Saturday, 12th
08:00-10:00- Registration/Check in; continental breakfast
11:00- Competitor’s Meeting
12:00- First Warning Signal
18:00- dinner
Sunday, June 13th
07:30- 09:30- Continental breakfast
10:00- First Warning Signal
Awards presentation will be in the pavilion immediately after sailing.
No warning signal will be made after 15:00 on Sunday.
There will be tent camping space available.
