POSTPONED - SELD District Championship

May 24, 2023: 
In conjunction with the Race Committee, regatta hosts, and event chair, the difficult decision was made to cancel this weekends event, and POSTPONE to a different weekend (details to be decided soon).

With the weather moving in this weekend, the forecast looking challenging, and the holiday weekend ahead, an abundance of caution exercised to make the never easy decision.

See below text and please stay tuned for an update regarding our District Championship to be held at a later date.

Hello Sailors,
The decision has been made to cancel the regatta this weekend. The Regatta Chair, PRO, Lightning Class Rep, and I have decided that the forecast for Saturday and Sunday would make it extremely difficult to conduct races. I am disappointed that we have had to make this decision, but given the weather outlook, we think it is for the best. I will issue refunds tomorrow. Do not hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns.
